  • Conical vessel houses a spiral screw (or dual/triple screws) that rotates on its axis while orbiting (“planetary motion”) near the conical wall. This drives upward lifting, after which material falls under gravity, producing axial-radial mixing.
  • Multi-screw options increase mixing intensity where needed without aggressive shear.

Sealing & Containment

  • All sealing systems are placed outside the material zone, preventing lubricant or sealant contact with the product.
  • Solutions include mechanical double seals, Cinchseal, packing seals with purge, or gas-sealed designs — selected for ATEX or inerting environments.

Thermal Control & Vacuum Options

  • Vessels can be fitted with heating/cooling jackets (e.g., steam, thermal oil, water) for temperature regulation during mixing or drying.
